We’re hiring: Building Science Project Manager

Location: North York

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Tenure: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 CAD / Annually

We’re looking for an experienced Building Science Project Manager to lead building envelope projects from investigation through to design, contract administration, and completion.

What you’ll do:

• Lead building envelope restoration, assessment, and reserve fund projects
• Conduct site investigations and evaluate building conditions
• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Develop cost estimates and rehabilitation strategies
• Manage projects from concept to completion (budget, timelines, quality)
• Perform construction reviews and contract administration
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Develop structural, thermal, and hygrothermal models
• Mentor and manage junior/intermediate team members
• Support client relationship development and business growth

What you bring:

• 6–10 years of experience in building science (consulting/contracting preferred)
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario (REQUIRED)
• Strong experience with building envelope systems (roofing, façades, glazing, waterproofing, cladding, etc.)
• Solid project management and leadership experience
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and envelope performance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
