Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a 310T Shop Foreman who will be responsible for daily operations of the heavy-duty repair shop, ensuring work is performed efficiently and safely.

SHOP FOREMAN Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the heavy-duty repair shop, ensuring work is performed efficiently and safely.
  • Assign jobs and tasks to mechanics based on skill level and workload.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure timely job completion.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to technicians, including troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Ensure all repairs and services meet company and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor shop technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Review and approve repair orders, ensuring proper documentation and labor time tracking.
  • Verify accuracy of parts used and services performed.
  • Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and other necessary documentation.
  • Clean work area as required and maintain equipment;
    Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards

Successful SHOP FOREMAN Candidates Will Have:

  • One year of SHOP FOREMAN experience within the heavy-duty industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • 310T certification
  • Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities (Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited offers a tool purchase or reimbursement program)
  • Valid G class driver license with good driving record, A D class with Z endorsement an asset
