Process Analyst III (TDS Governance & Controls)

Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Contract: 7 months (potential extension)

Pay Rate: Up to $33/hour

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Analyst III to join the TDS Governance & Controls (G&C) team on a contract basis. This role is essential to the execution of internal control testing programs across TDS business lines.

This is a great opportunity for professionals with high-risk, governance, and control experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with high stakeholder interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal control testing in line with 2nd line functions (Risk, Compliance, AML, etc.)
  • Develop and execute Design & Operating Effectiveness testing programs
  • Analyze control gaps, track deficiencies, and support remediation efforts
  • Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Assess and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes and controls
  • Support process improvements and identify efficiencies in testing programs
  • Provide insights and support for ad hoc risk and control initiatives
  • Ensure timely delivery of all assigned deliverables

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Governance
  • Strong experience in Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk, and control frameworks
  • Prior audit or quality control testing experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas required)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in wholesale banking or derivative operations
  • Exposure to front office / trading environments
  • Experience with ARIS (process mapping tool)
  • Knowledge of TDS operations and processes
