Role Description The Operational Specialist role at Kingsway Consulting Group Inc. is a full-time remote position. This role is responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily operational activities related to SR&ED consulting projects, including tracking project progress, maintaining accurate records, and supporting process improvements. The Operational Specialist will collaborate with consultants and clients to gather required information, prepare documentation, schedule meetings, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. They will monitor workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and consistency. The role also includes supporting basic reporting, assisting with internal tools and systems, and helping align operations with the company’s service and compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams and external clients in a clear, professional manner.
• Sales and client relationship support skills, with the ability to assist in proposal preparation, follow-ups, and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Operations management skills to coordinate workflows, maintain documentation, and ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Project management skills to organize tasks, manage timelines, prioritize competing demands, and track progress across multiple engagements.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong self-management, time management, and organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, project tracking or CRM software).
• Post-secondary education in business, operations, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; experience in consulting, tax incentives, or SR&ED is an asset.
