Senior Project Manager – Credit Cards (Business PM)

Location: Toronto

Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension Possible)

Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Work Model: Hybrid – ~2–3 Days Onsite Per Week

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience delivering credit card initiatives from planning through deployment within a banking environment. This role will lead business-focused projects (non-infrastructure) and drive execution across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful business outcomes.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle including governance, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and change management while ensuring delivery aligns with regulatory and compliance standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-visibility card programs within a large financial institution.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of project management experience
• Experience delivering credit card initiatives (end-to-end lifecycle)
• Banking or financial services industry experience
• Experience managing project budgets and financial forecasts
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience leading large initiatives with multiple business units
• Experience working within governance, regulatory, and compliance frameworks

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts
• Experience with card product launches, enhancements, or regulatory initiatives
• Experience leading teams of 20+ stakeholders
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking
