Liquor Store Supervisor Company The Hospitality Inn Liquor Store 3825 Redford Street Port Alberni, BC V9Y 3S2 Compensation: $25.00/hour for 30-40 hours a week (Overtime applicable after 40 hours) Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time, Extended working hours, weekends Number of positions available: 1 Job Description Supervise and co-ordinate liquor store staff and cashiers Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff Manage inventory, pricing integrity, expense control, availability of products all times and ensure we are following company standards Authorize payments and the return of merchandise Verify received goods, check discrepancies and merchandise Maintain cash control, funds, deposits, deposit funds in bank, followed state regulations, set up profit margins and increased sales Check order invoices, IDs of customers, review vendor requests for disbursements and authorize payroll disbursements Develop objectives, operating plans and advertising strategies, and implement procedure compliance to all laws Maintain data and accounting and operating records. Provided job descriptions and scheduling of all personnel. Requirements and Qualifications: High school education 1-2 Years experience of working in the relevant field is required Language requirements: English Additional skills: Effective communication skills Professional attitude Good organizational skills Problem solving and decision-making skills Team player OTHER Candidate should be willing to work in both morning & evening shifts.
