Job Description

Our client, one of the fastest growing Insurance brokerages in the GTA, is now expanding into  Windsor-Essex County. We are looking for experienced RIBO licensed brokers to add to their team. If you’re looking for growth, independence  and long term commitment, this is a place for you. Brokerage offers great back office support, wide insurer market, professional incentives and much more. For those interested, an opportunity to build your team and become a team leader will be available. They are looking for brokers with or without existing book of business. Brokers with existing, portable book of business, shall continue working with their clients under improved conditions. Managing partners, looking for better terms are also welcome to join their team. High commission remuneration or salary/commission split may be offered, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through new and existing networks and centres of influence
• Follow-up with prospects to close leads
• Ability to identify and solve our clients changing insurance needs
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines set out by broker business partners
• Build and maintain professional relationships with insurers and underwriters
• Promote client loyalty through relationship building
• Review quotes and recommend coverage based on individual needs.
• Flexibility to work from office or home

Qualifications

• RIBO, OTL licence
• Minimum 1 year experience, preferably 3+ years
• LLQP license an asset but not a must
• Sales focused, driven to go out create referral partners from various business sources
• Ability to generate leads through various sources
• Independent, ambitious, accountable, and open to learning new sales tactics
• Positive attitude and client focused
• Looking to grow within a rapidly expanding brokerage
