Location: 1456 Brenton St, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 2K7 E-Mail Address: Number of Positions: 2 Position: Food Counter Attendant Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 30 - 40/week Salary: $16.75/hr Overtime: $25.13/hr (As per provincial Standards) Observed Holidays: As outlined by the Province of Nova Scotia Benefits: N/A Language of work: English Education: None Experience: On the job training provided Job Duties: Greet customers and take orders in the restaurant Take customer orders and demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and accurately explain them to the customer when necessary Understand company procedures and apply them to meet customer needs Prepare orders neatly, accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to all quality standards and proper food handing/safety standards Prepare food such as burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. Serve customers at counters with efficient and effective customer service Tabulate totals and package food for customers Receive payment and process transactions through debit, credit, or cash payments Handle cash and return correct change.
