Weyerhaeuser Company is seeking a full time Electrical Technician at our Grande Prairie, AB Sawmill. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a team environment within a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.
Key Functions:
Execute emergency response and on-shift troubleshooting
Perform preventative maintenance and system repairs
Implement process improvement projects
Maintain electrical systems and equipment
Document maintenance activities and technical reports
Valid Journeyman Electrical Ticket
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Proven industrial maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting capabilities
PLC and control systems knowledge
SAP system proficiency (training provided)
Exceptional safety awareness and compliance
Strong technical problem-solving abilities
Effective team collaboration
Adaptability to changing priorities
Ability to perform the essential job functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending.
