The Iron is not a typical golf course – it is a ground-up build of a premium Northern Ontario golf and event destination. Our course is being constructed in-house, allowing us to shape every fairway, green, and landscape feature with intention, craftsmanship, and pride. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant Superintendent to help bring this vision to life – from construction through grow-in and hopefully into long-term course excellence.
Position SummaryThe Assistant Superintendent will work directly alongside the Golf Course Superintendent and management/ownership team in the day-to-day construction, development, maintenance, and future operation of The Iron Golf Club. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the creation of a course from the ground up – shaping terrain, installing infrastructure, and later transitioning into agronomy and course conditioning.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outdoor, hands-on environments, enjoys equipment operation, problem-solving, and is a natural leader.
