We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and screenings for signs of oral diseases
- Expose dental x-rays as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Ontario
- Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
