Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to other crew members
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, composite , drywall, etc.) according to project plans
• Perform general carpentry duties, including framing, window & door installation, metal flashing, siding, wall/floor & roof construction, flooring installation with various material types
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Skilled Carpenter
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices in residential construction
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade certification or apprenticeship in carpentry an asset but not required
• Additional skills in other trades an asset
• Experience working on residential projects
