NAR Consulting Firm is a performance-based marketing agency headquartered in Ottawa. We help service-based businesses — especially in the home improvement industry — scale through proven lead generation strategies and high-performing ad campaigns.

We’re looking for aShort-Form Video Editorto join our teamremotely or in a hybrid capacity(part-time or full-time).

You’ll be responsible for editing engaging short-form videos designed for ads — including testimonials, before-and-after showcases, demo clips, mini VSLs, and walkthroughs. Your goal will be to create scroll-stopping content that captures attention and drives qualified leads to take action.

You’ll primarily work withhome improvement clientsand may occasionally need to communicate with them on how to record video clips for integration into final edits.

While you don’t need to be based in Canada,preference will be given to candidates located in or near Ottawa.

• Proven experience editing short-form content for ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and hooks for social media audiences
• Ability to turn raw client footage into polished, high-converting ad creatives
• Basic understanding of ad objectives and what drives engagement
• Good communication skills and comfort providing direction to clients when needed
• Familiarity with home improvement or service-based industries is a plus
