Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is as follows: Manage accounting transactions Prepare budget & forecasts Publish financial statements Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documents Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations TMGNY Job Requirements: Minimum 4-5+ years of accounting experience in service-related industry Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced MS Excel skills Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or Net Suite preferred, but not required Be able to perform effectively as a team member, while working independently to meet goals and deadlines Apply
