ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Registered Dietitian works as a member of the Health Care Team to provide customer focused nutritional care which may include nutritional assessments, counselling and recommendations for diet modification, nutrition support, medications labs and IV's.

This position will be starting with 8 weeks; with high possibility of extension.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Minimum of two years clinical nutrition experience in an acute care hospital preferred
  • Experience in critical care areas and ICU
  • Demonstrates collaborative working relationships with interdisciplinary team members in both an ambulatory and in-patient environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and team, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Supports and enables evidence-based practice in the professional milieu.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word
  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
