Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Painting Project Manager and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, estimating, and delivering commercial painting projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee commercial painting projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Financial administration including the monitoring of project costs, invoicing and costs approval.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.

Estimating:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial painting projects.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Client Relations:

• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial painting project management and estimating an asset.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

• Painting or construction related experience an asset.
