There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Confined spaces Wet/damp Work setting Various locations Commercial Residential High-rise building construction sites Responsibilities Tasks Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Prepare tenders and quotations Instruct apprentices Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Schedule personnel, tools and equipment Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Working at heights training Confined Space Entry Training Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate Additional information Security and safety Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/travel information Own transportation Own vehicle Vehicle supplied by employer Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Handling heavy loads Large workload Work under pressure Own tools/equipment Tools Steel-toed safety boots Hard hat Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Judgement Team player Who can apply for this job?
