The Planner is responsible for delivering high‑quality Detail Planning aligned with Integrated Master Schedule Time Fence Rules, supporting the development of Work Pack hierarchies and clearly defining requirements before creating jobs and logic within AVEVA to build a fully integrated production plan. This role produces networked schedules that account for scope, schedule, budget, materials, technical information, and cross‑functional production needs, ensuring efficient execution throughout the project.
To succeed, the Planner must be proficient in interpreting Production Drawings, Production Bills of Material, and 3D Models; understanding shipbuilding construction techniques; and effectively using the Integrated Master Schedule, Integrated Test Plan, AVEVA, and related business management tools to translate complex technical data into actionable, production‑ready plans.
ResponsibilitiesDue to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full‑time, in‑office presence.
