Process payroll accurately and on time, following company policies and ESA rules. Review payroll completed by others to ensure accuracy. Maintain employee data in systems (ADP Workforce Now, SAP) Prepare reports (headcount, payroll, HR metrics, etc.) Support Finance with month-end and reconciliations. Assist with audits and year-end reporting (T4s, T4 As, CRA reports) Respond to payroll questions from employees and external contacts. Support system improvements, upgrades, and testing. Create training materials and help staff understand HR systems. Review HR processes and suggest improvements. Post-secondary education (CPM is an asset) ~6–8 years of payroll experience ~ SAP is an asset. ~ Experience handling payroll for 500+ employees. ~ Strong problem-solving skills for complex payroll issues ~ Good communication and customer service skills ~ Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
