Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Sonographer to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MSK ultrasound examinations and delivering excellent patient care in a professional clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound studies (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot, soft tissue, etc.)
• Accurately acquire diagnostic images and ensure proper documentation
• Review patient history and clinical information prior to examinations
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper infection control procedures are followed
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow PHIPA guidelines
• Ensure high standards of patient care and professionalism at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered with Sonography Canada (or eligible for registration)
• Proven experience performing MSK ultrasound examinations
• Strong knowledge of MSK anatomy and pathology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience with general ultrasound (abdomen, small parts, OB/GYN)
• Experience in a private clinic setting
• Bilingual (English/French)
