Sprinkler Fitter Journeyman required in Grande Prairie, AB. Only those with a journeyman certification in sprinkler fitting will be considered as fire code deems only journeyman sprinkler fitters are deemed qualified for the inspection, testing and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems.

Will be responsible for the Inspection, testing and maintenance of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, stand pipes and specialty fire suppression equipment. Experience in the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire suppression systems is an asset, however training can be provided to the right candidate. Moving expenses can be discussed with the right candidate under a service contract.

Skills:

Good communication and willing to work within our team.
Potentially willing to learn fire alarm systems and fire codes for inspection purposes
Willing to participate in the Health & Safety program.
Troubleshooting and Problem solving skills

Education:

Sprinkler fitter Journeyman/Woman
Prefer candidate with experience in the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire suppression systems including sprinklers, standpipes, cross connections and hydrants.
Prefer candidate with CSTS and First Aid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
