The Inventory Performance & Resolution Analyst is responsible for monitoring inventory health across the North American warehouse network and driving resolution of operational issues impacting service, cost, and working capital. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role focuses on identifying risks related to aging, expiring, damaged, and on-hold inventory, ensuring warehouse alignment on inventory management practices, and translating data into actionable insights for Supply Chain, Commercial, and S&OP decision-making.

This position plays a critical cross-functional role by providing visibility into warehouse performance, inventory movement, and capacity utilization, while proactively escalating risks and coordinating corrective actions with internal teams and third-party partners.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Health & Risk Management

  • Monitor aging, expiring, damaged, and on-hold inventory and translate findings into clear, actionable follow-ups with internal stakeholders and warehouse partners
  • Maintain visibility on inventory movement and FEFO execution, ensuring alignment with warehouse inventory management practices
  • Identify inventory risks early and support mitigation actions to minimize write-offs, service impacts, and excess storage costs

Reporting, KPIs & Business Insights

  • Prepare and distribute regular inventory reports, dashboards, and visual aids for warehouse issues meetings, KPI reviews, and S&OP forums
  • Analyze trends and performance drivers to support Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance decision-making
  • Develop clear insights from complex data sets to highlight risks, opportunities, and required actions

Warehouse Performance & Capacity Visibility

  • Lead warehouse capacity visibility across the North American network and identify potential storage or utilization constraints
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly warehouse performance meetings, including preparation of insights, trends, and issue summaries
  • Monitor alignment with warehouse partners on inventory handling, rotation, and reporting practices
  • Track and report on warehouse performance KPIs and service-level adherence, highlighting gaps and driving follow-up actions

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive resolution of recurring warehouse and inventory issues through structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
  • Work closely with Commercial, Customer Service, Accounting, Key Account Management, and Supply Planning to ensure inventory risks are addressed
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen inventory governance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, or a related field
  • 3–6+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, operations analytics, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency (Power BI or similar tools an asset)
  • Solid understanding of inventory concepts (aging, FEFO/FIFO, working capital, warehouse operations)
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate inventory risks, identify potential issues before they escalate, and implement preventative solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate data into practical actions and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with third-party logistics providers and cross-functional internal teams
