Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Richmond, BC. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the design team to create innovative and functional spaces, develop detailed layouts and construction drawings, and oversee design projects from concept through completion. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), partnering with clients to align designs with their vision, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetic interior layouts
• Knowledge in Architecture and the ability to interpret and apply construction principles
• Expertise in creating detailed and accurate Construction Drawings
• Experience selecting and specifying FF&E for design projects
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and contractors
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools is preferred
• Experience in exterior architectural elements or moulding design is an asset
