Who You Are:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the venue, with a focus on Front Of House scheduling and service execution. This role is highly hands-on, requiring a strong presence on the floor during service to support the team, engage with guests, and ensure the guest experience consistently meets brand standards.

The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality while driving team performance.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on high-energy service
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the FOH team to deliver memorable, high-impact guest experiences
  • Build and manage schedules aligned with peak nights, events, and business flow
  • Be a constant presence on the floor; driving energy, supporting the team, and engaging with guests throughout service
  • Frequent touchpoints with tables to ensure service standards are executed consistently
  • Reading the room to ensure the vibe, atmosphere, and overall guest experience are on point
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Lead pre-shifts and in-service check-ins to keep the team aligned, energized, and accountable
  • Support and execute events with a focus on seamless, elevated service
  • Collaborate with Culinary team to ensure speed, consistency, and quality
  • Maintain strong operational control over cleanliness, organization, and health & safety standards
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and development of a strong, engaged FOH team
  • Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback on the floor
  • Assist with administrative tasks including payroll support and inventory coordination
  • Work closely with marketing and events teams to bring programming to life in-venue
  • Step in wherever needed - this is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality, preferably in a leadership capacity (e.g. shift lead, bar manager)
  • Passion for creating Positive Shareable Experiences in a safe & fun environment
  • Takes initiative to learn and desire to grow within the organization and hospitality industry
  • Positive and calming disposition
  • Love of systems and keeping businesses organized
  • Proven track record of hiring, training and developing engaging team members
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in a fair and diplomatic way
  • Natural ability to create positive relationships with your team, exhibiting empathy and respect for people at all levels
  • Demonstrated performance and background in operating a profitable hospitality business.
  • Must regularly work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Valid Smart Serve certification
  • First Aid & CPR Certification an asset
