Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is looking for a Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their safety conscious team!
This individual will assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy handling units including, but not limited to tractors, trailers, and loaders.
Thisweekend position is eligible for a $5,000Sign on Bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
  • Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs.
  • Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
  • Complete repair orders.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.
  • Complete warranty information.
  • Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties.
  • Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • 3+ experience working as a (Heavy Duty) Mechanic is an asset.
  • Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
  • Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
  • Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
  • Class 5 Driver's License required.
