Now Hiring: Estimator – Paving & Construction

Are you an analytical and detail-oriented Estimator with experience in civil construction and asphalt/paving projects? Do you thrive on preparing accurate and competitive bids for high-impact projects? If so, we want to hear from you!

Location: Ottawa/Gatineau (south end location)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

What You’ll Do:

✔️ Analyze project plans, specs, and contracts to prepare precise cost estimates

✔️ Perform material take-offs and quantity calculations

✔️ Prepare and submit competitive bids for public and private projects

✔️ Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors for the best pricing

✔️ Develop cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

✔️ Assist in project scheduling and budgeting

✔️ Stay updated on market pricing trends and industry costs

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience in construction estimating (roadwork, grading, paving preferred)

✅ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts

✅ Proficiency in estimating software & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

✅ Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

✅ Understanding of public and private sector bidding processes

✅ Security clearance eligibility for federal site work

✅ Valid driver’s license
