Your Role & Impact
Under the guidance of Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in addressing the following challenges:
Main responsibilities:
The successful Electromechanically technician will work under the Maintenance Supervisor as part of a team responsible for optimizing the machinery output by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.
Responsibilities
• Repair, install, assemble, maintain and test industrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps and compressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical and electronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems);• Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in the plant and perform repairs;• Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doing repairs;• Report any specific findings, known problem or delays to supervisor;• Other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor
What You Bring to the Role
• A high school diploma and vocational training or program are usually required.• Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionized environment an asset• Successfully complete internal testing.• Relevant industrial experience preferred, experience in troubleshooting and repair.• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.• Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards an asset;
