Job Description

Medical Gas Driver Operator – D License required
Location: Dedicated runs in SW Ontario - based out of London Ontario 
Full-time Permanent Position: 37.5hrs/week, Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm (with some flexibility)
Salaried position @ $24.50 - 25.50/Hour (+benefits +pension +3 weeks paid vacation) 

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of oxygen cylinders on dedicated day runs. Starting in London, this existing vacancy will load, deliver, and unload product to our ProResp office locations primarily around Southwestern Ontario. You will also be assisting the team to prepare and fill oxygen cylinders for distribution when needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient supply distribution of Oxygen cylinders 
• Maintain accurate and timely records of products and distribution
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform inventory control of products
• Conduct required safety checks and ensure maintenance of company vehicle in accordance with established corporate practices.
• Occasionally assist in with the process of filling oxygen cylinders during peak periods when needed.
• Must adhere to the regulations regarding the handling, offering for transport and transporting of dangerous goods and maintains a valid TDG certificate as provided in training by the company

Role Requirements:

• Valid D Driver's License with satisfactory driving record. Candidates under 25 years of age, and/or with less than 3 years full class driving experience, will be required to provide Driver’s License History and Driver Experience Letter in order to meet insurance requirements.
• Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, i.e., lifting up to 60 lbs on a regular basis, pushing and manipulating weights up to 100lbs. The nature of this role requires that you successfully complete a pre-placement Functional Assessment test as a condition of employment to ensure that you can meet these essential duties of the role.     
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with internal customers

Education:  Secondary school graduate or equivalent.
