CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE COMPANY: Dionne Concrete Products LOCATION: Earlton, ON TYPE: Summer-Fall   DESCRIPTION:   As someone with great customer service skills, you’re looking for more than just a typical CSR job. A dynamic, multi-faceted job where you can build and grow your customer service skills, and so much more.  This is the role for you.  For the past 75 years, Dionne Concrete Products has been supplying the highest quality custom concrete masonry and landscaping products to north-eastern Ontario and Quebec. We pride ourselves on terrific, highly knowledgeable customer service that our clients have come to rely on.  We are now looking for a new Customer Service Representative to join our tight-knit team, and help us continue this 75-year tradition.  Customer Service Representative  As our CSR, you’ll be supporting our customers as well as our shop. This will involve working closely with clients to finalize the details of their orders, making suggestions where appropriate, answering customer inquiries, as well as working in the shop to load materials, and work with production machinery. We want someone who is going to fit in with all our staff, many of whom have been here for years.  These are the qualities we’re looking for:  * Reliability * Punctuality * A great teammate * Takes pride in a job well done  This is a truly multi-faceted role, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business, and have a significant impact from day one.  Practically speaking, you will: * Sell bricks, blocks, paving stones and related concrete masonry products * Assist customers in selecting styles and colors * Calculate quantities required from customers' plans * Answer telephone and prepare invoices and quotations using QuickBooks and Excel * Follow up with customers in a timely manner * Prepare advertisements using MS Publisher * Prepare and maintain forms used for safety and quality control in the factory (forklift, boiler, fire extinguishers maintenance checklists) * Help load customers or cast concrete products using forklifts and various production machinery during the slow season Working @ Dionne Concrete  This is a full-time, seasonal position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, and every other Saturday morning. We offer an attractive starting wage of $20.00/hour and overtime. Qualifications  * Intermediate level computer skills, particularly with MS Office and MS Publisher * Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software * Good basic math and geometry skills * Experience in a customer service role * Previous experience in a retail sales role * Experience in landscape construction is an asset * Bilingual French and English (written and verbal) * Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+lbs. * Valid G driver’s license  How to Apply  Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
