Pulse Complete Cardiac Care, located in Victoria, British Columbia, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Cardiology Technologist to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. Holding ourselves to the highest standard of healthcare excellence, our team of 22 physicians, technologists and other healthcare professionals provide coordinated, quality, comprehensive cardiovascular care to the residents of Vancouver Island and beyond.

This job is in-person in Victoria, BC, performing cardiac diagnostic testing on our patients in clinic. We do not currently have any remote work available.

We are looking for someone to join our team for casual call-in coverage for sick time and vacation time. There is potential for a permanent position in future as well. Remuneration commensurate with experience

*Typical Duties and Responsibilities*

· This position will involve independently performing Exercise Stress Testing under the direction and supervision of the EDS Manager and Supervising Cardiologist. As required, the opportunity to engage in other diagnostic testing (Holter application and scanning, ECGs) may arise.

· Provide compassionate patient care.

· Work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues and physicians.

*Education and Experience*

· Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program.

· 2 year recent related experience (preferred).

· Registration with CSCT (member in good standing).

· CPR Certification. (current or with the intention to recertify).

* Possess outstanding arrhythmia interpretation skills.
* Prioritize and organize work.
* Observe and assess patients.
* Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Possess the physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
* Demonstrate composure during urgent situations.
* Demonstrate personal integrity.
* Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
