Adecco is currently hiring an Autobody Paint Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a growing autobody repair team in Hinton, Alberta.In this role, you will primarily focus on preparing and masking vehicles for the paint department, while also providing coverage during high-volume periods or vacation coverage. The ideal candidate has autobody shop experience, strong knowledge of prep and paint processes, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour + production rates
Location: Hinton, AB
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Approximately 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including masking and sanding
Perform buffing, wet sanding, and polishing of painted vehicles
Support the paint department during peak workloads or absences
Follow all Health and Safety programs and participate in safety meetings
Attend daily and/or weekly production meetings
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Complete additional duties as assigned by the Location Manager
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an autobody shop required
Strong knowledge of vehicle prep and painting processes
Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred (apprentices in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year will be considered)
Valid driver's license required
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and use of hand tools
Eligible to work in Canada
