full-time*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to grow in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
*Responsibilities* - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and routine cleanings - Educate patients on oral health and treatment options - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care - Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dentistry - Utilize Epic or other electronic health record systems efficiently - Design dental restorations using CAD software if applicable
*Qualifications* - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Active Alberta State Dental license in good standing - Experience working in a dental office setting preferred - Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry - Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus - Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
