Job DescriptionSherwood Park Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ltd is looking for an Apprentice Auto Body Technician!

Our collision repair team will benefit from a qualified apprentice technician who will perform work specified on repair orders safely with efficiency and in accordance to dealership standards.

Job Duties:

• Repair and/or replace damage to body panels, weld sheet metal, interior and exterior components of vehicles.
  
• Straighten bent frames and unitized bodies.
  
• Surface preparation and application
  
• Inspect vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive them to ensure proper alignment and handling.
  
• Communicate directly with the Estimator so that customers can be informed if any additional work is needed.
  
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  
• Other duties as required.
  

Successful Candidates Possess:

• 1st or 2nd year auto body technician
  
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  
• Hold a valid driver’s license with clean abstract
  
• First Aid and WHMIS an asset
  
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
  
• Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
