We are expanding our footprint across Canada and the U.S. and are seeking an experienced Executive Producer to lead new business growth, strengthen relationships, and oversee major productions.

The Executive Producer will be the key connector between SP Studios and the North American advertising and production ecosystem. This is a hybrid sales + operations leadership role: you’ll drive revenue growth through agency and production partnerships, manage active productions, and help position SP Studios as a go-to partner for cutting‑edge virtual production and creative storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Canadian and U.S. agencies, production companies, and brand clients.
• Identify, pitch, and secure new production opportunities across commercial, entertainment, and branded content sectors.
• Oversee current productions, ensuring creative, technical, and financial excellence.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams — ICVFX, Unreal Engine, LED Volume, and Motion Control — to deliver innovative solutions.
• Represent SP Studios at industry events, festivals, and networking functions.
• Lead project bidding, budget negotiations, and proposal development.
• Report directly to the CEO, aligning business development goals with studio growth.

Ideal Candidate

• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial production, agency producing, or executive production.
• Proven success working with U.S. and Canadian advertising agencies and production partners.
• Deep understanding of VFX, virtual production, or emerging production technology.
• Strong business acumen — comfortable managing budgets, clients, and creative teams.
• Natural relationship builder with a trusted network of agency producers and brand partners.
• Passionate about storytelling, technology, and innovation in filmmaking.
• Self‑starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast‑moving environment.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Advertising production, post‑production, or creative technology.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine, LED volume workflows, or VFX pipelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring producers or sales teams.
• U.S. production or agency experience strongly preferred.
