Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Professional to join our client's finance team in Regina, SK. This role plays a key part in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and integrity within our financial operations. This role requires you to be highly organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate exceptional professionalism and precision in all accounting tasks. The Accounts Payable Professional will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, contributing to the overall success of our organization. This is a full-time salary role, to support with day-to-day accounting needs. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced, progressive organization, and work independently.
Pay Rate: $26 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
Emphasize quality, professionalism, innovation, proactivity, and precision in executing all aspects of the role's responsibilities.
Examine and accurately process a substantial volume of vendor invoices within specified timelines.
Monitor the emails, categorize invoices into appropriate folders, and align them with relevant purchase orders and packing slips.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to promptly resolve discrepancies and address inquiries.
Cultivate positive relationships with vendors to facilitate seamless transactions.
Reconcile employee credit cards through Dext and pursue missing receipts from the respective cardholders.
Initiate contact with utility companies to address questions or changes and establish new utility accounts as needed.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Execute timely payment processing according to the established schedule.
Validate the accuracy of payment information and address inquiries related to payments.
Maintain well-organized and current accounts payable files.
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
Generate and analyze reports pertinent to accounts payable.
Additional duties may be assigned by senior team members.
Act as a representative for company both internally and externally, consistently upholding the company's purpose throughout the year.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or financial administration within a fast-paced, progressive organization
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management with the ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial documentation
Proficiency with accounting tools and digital financial platforms (experience with Dext is an asset)
Professional, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
