Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detailu2011oriented Accounting Analyst with strong foundational accounting skills to support core financial close activities, balance sheet integrity, and compliance across our North American operations. This role is ideal for a CPA candidate looking to deepen their expertise in account reconciliations, general accounting, and monthu2011end close processes.The successful candidate will collaborate with corporate accounting, plant finance teams, and operations leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and a reliable control environment. Perform accurate and timely balance sheet account reconciliations, with strong emphasis on standard accounting processes. Enhance reconciliation frameworks by improving templates, control checklists, and documentation. Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances; escalate issues when needed. Support monthly financial statement review packages and ensure accuracy across key accounts. Financial Controls & Compliance Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Maintain upu2011tou2011date process documentation for reconciliations, close tasks, and reporting cycles. Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and providing supporting information. Operational & Crossu2011Functional Support Partner with corporate and plant finance teams to ensure consistent accounting treatment across all entities. Validate warehouse and inventoryu2011related accounting entries and support periodic inventory reconciliations. Provide variance explanation and account fluctuation analysis as part of the monthly reporting cycle. Process Improvement & Automation Leverage Excel, macros, and reporting tools to streamline reconciliation and close processes. Propose improvements that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Assist with integrating new business units into the companyu2019s finance and controls framework.
