Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Cost Analyst to join their team. As a Cost Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting internal teams and management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cost Analyst

Location: Alliston, ON

Pay Range:8 $38.50-$40.50 per hour

Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Analyze and report on variances at a corporate level for budget versus actual costs
• Support month-end and year-end processes, including account analysis
• Conduct cost analysis with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets to support organizational planning
• Manage ad hoc requests for financial information and analysis

What's Needed?

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or related work experience
• 3-5 years of cost management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and presentation abilities
