Responsibilities Repair, install, assemble, maintain and testindustrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps andcompressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical andelectronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulicsystems, pneumatic systems);
Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in theplant and perform repairs;
Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doingrepairs;
Report any specific findings, known problem ordelays to supervisor;
Other duties as assigned by the immediateSupervisor Qualifications and EducationExperience A high school diploma and vocational training orprogram are usually required. Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionizedenvironment an asset Successfully complete internaltesting. Relevant industrial experience preferred, experiencein troubleshooting and repair. Able to work under pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment. Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards anasset;
