Job Summary
Responsible for providing instruction for all Bradly Museum March Break Camp related activities as indicated by program outlines and to provide a safe and fun environment that meets the needs of all participants.
Duties and Responsibilities - Plan and implement a comprehensive, inclusive museum camp program to meet the needs of all participants ensuring that the HIGH FIVE Principles and Design Guidelines are met as well as meeting the Course Objectives as outlined in the Core Plans.
- Ensure supervision of campers at all times and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants by adhering to department safety standards and assisting with emergency procedures as required.
- Support objectives and goals of all museum camp programs through quality instruction and excellent customer and staff relationships.
- Accurately and on time complete all administrative duties such as: sign in / out, safety checks, accident incident reports etc. and ensure communication with Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications - Minimum 1 year experience working with children.
- Emergency First Aid Certificate/CPR B, (Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross Society, St. Johns Ambulance or the Canadian Ski Patrol) required.
- HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development required.
- Criminal Record Search, Vulnerable Sector Screening that is acceptable to the City of Mississauga.
