  • Summary:

1:1 support with this specific individual in their home. Providing transportation to and from work, helping by accommodating drives to and from his professional appointments, and helping him choose activities within the community that would help him meet his goals. As well as helping with basic cooking skills, and light housekeeping.

  • Qualifications:

Diploma in Rehabilitation and/or related education (preferred).

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.

A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.

Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.

Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.

Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.

  • Salary: $19.75 - $24.27 and is dependent on education and experience.
