Leasing Agent

Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with potential tenants. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to negotiate effectively. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi is a plus.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth operations within the leasing office.
• Utilize data entry skills to update tenant information and maintain organized files.
• Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the leasing process, addressing any concerns or questions from potential tenants.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32,000.00-$34,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Additional pay:
