Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Packing Representative to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all outbound packages are managed efficiently and safely while leading a team to meet our high standards of excellence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our shipping and packing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Packing Operations:

• • Oversee the packing, weighing, and labeling of completed items for shipment or storage.
  • Ensure all items are packed according to company guidelines to guarantee they arrive at their destination safely.
  • Verify that items match orders before shipping to customers.
  • Utilize packaging materials and tools efficiently, including hand tools, glues, nails, and padding.

Quality Control and Documentation:

• • Maintain comprehensive records of all shipped orders, including tracking numbers.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Process Improvement:

• • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping and packing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall workflow.

Additional Duties:

• • Perform other duties as required to support the shipping and packing operations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• • Proven work experience as a Packer or in a similar role with a track record of leadership.
  • Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and train staff effectively.

Skills:

• • Proficiency with basic shop skills, including the use of hand tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Education:

• • High school diploma or equivalent
