Job Summary:
Aventyr is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept individual to join our team as a Surveillance Cabinet Technician. This role involves assembling and wiring surveillance cabinets with low-voltage equipment, ideal for candidates with experience in computer assembly or similar technical fields who appreciate flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire surveillance cabinets utilizing low-voltage surveillance equipment.
• Order and manage the receipt of materials necessary for assembly projects.
• Log and maintain inventory records in our inventory management system.
• Ensure projects are completed within set deadlines.
• Perform comprehensive testing on assembled cabinets to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Establish connectivity of cabinets with central monitoring stations.
• Diagnose and rectify any issues related to cabinet assembly or connectivity.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of low-voltage wiring and electronic components.
• Experience in computer building or similar technical assembly tasks preferred.
• Good understanding of networking basics and hardware configurations.
• Capability to work autonomously and organize a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training is advantageous.

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay at $20 per hour.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
