Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Strategic Partnerships position in Montreal, QC from May - Aug 2025

Job Summary

The Intern, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for working with the Strategic Partnerships to support the activation of partnerships (e. g. everything that occurs after a donation or sponsorship is approved and processed).

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the activation of major event partnerships (e.g., Montréal en Lumière, Hockey Helps the Homeless, CN Cycle for CHEO) by facilitating participant recruitment and tracking and employee engagement activities
  • Support for the launch of CNs future flagship cause
  • Provide administrative support including the preparation of letters to accompany donation cheques
  • Provide process and policy support including the preparation of tools to improve efficiencies for the evaluation and execution of charitable partnerships
  • Work with promotion item suppliers to identify appropriate swag for events
  • Develop digital tools (e.g., templates, forms) to facilitate the recruitment of employees for sponsored events Requirements
  • Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
  • The role requires the ability to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Education

  • Working towards a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or Human Resources Management
  • Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
