Position and Area: Applied Music Sessional (AMS) - Harpsichord

Estimated AMS Appointments Available: 1-3 with 24 hour-long lessons per AMS appointment

Sessional Dates: January to April 2025

Salary: $106.37/hour

Qualifications: Doctoral degree in historical keyboard performance. Ongoing performing activities encompassing a wide range of solo and chamber repertoire. Demonstrated excellence teaching keyboard performance at the university level.

Duties: Define lesson objectives and materials; provide clear guidelines on studio requirements and regulations; teach lessons as scheduled; administer and evaluate student progress through assigned repertoire and exercises; ensure that Early Music Area and Performance Division requirements are met regarding culminating juries and recitals; prepare and submit final grade in accordance with policy; maintain reasonable hours of student consultation outside scheduled class hours.
