PRIMARY FUNCTION: The RoRo Billing Clerk handles all aspects of RoRo receivable processing as well as assuming other finance responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following, and other duties as may be assigned:

•Generating invoices and customer statements

•Collect and process customers payments

•Liaison with all customers regarding account status and settlement

•Weekly reviews of collection status and follow-up as required

•Investigating and resolving any irregularities. Respond to customer inquiries.

•Accounts Reconciliation, post journal entries, customer invoices and maintenance of general ledger

•Update and reconcile cash payments

•Provide weekly and monthly reporting on revenue at a customer level

•Meet stringent deadlines for weekly vessel revenue, month end, and year end tasks

•Support operations and IT with process improvements

•Assist billing team with other billing activities as directed by the Revenue Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

•Accounting diploma or similar preferred or 1-2 years related work experience

•Knowledge of basic accounting principles

•Proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat

•High degree of attention to detail

•Able to follow policies and procedures

•Excellent organizational skills and time management

•Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

COMPENSATION: This is a 12-month contract salaried position
