Adecco is currently hiring a Delivery Helper / General Labourer for a full-time opportunity in Dartmouth, NS . This role is ideal for a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and is comfortable assisting with deliveries, installations, and general labour duties. If you are safety-conscious, physically capable, and looking to gain valuable field experience, this could be a great opportunity for you. In this position, you will work alongside drivers and technicians to support deliveries, installations, maintenance activities, and customer service. You will assist with loading and unloading, equipment preparation, inspections, paperwork, and other tasks required to ensure efficient daily operations. Salary: $18.00/hour Location: Dartmouth, NS Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary Responsibilities Assist drivers and technicians with product deliveries to residential and commercial customers Support installation and maintenance work by performing manual labour tasks as required Assist with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Prepare trucks, equipment, and materials for daily operations Assist with preparing fuel hoses and equipment for product dispensing when required Deliver paperwork and documentation to customers Support the completion of daily shift reports and required operational paperwork Load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada Previous general labour experience is considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout extended shifts Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently Customer service experience is considered an asset Why Apply Gain valuable experience working alongside skilled drivers and technicians Hands-on role with a variety of daily responsibilities Opportunity to develop delivery, installation, and field support experience Supportive team-oriented work environment Consistent full-time schedule Build transferable skills in logistics, customer service, and operations Interested in this position?
