Position Summary:

One of our clients in the material handling industry are looking to find strong Bilingual talent as a Road Service Technician.

As the Road Service Technician, you will travelling to customer sites to conduct maintenance and repairs for Material Handling Equipment, like forklifts, lift trucks and carousels providing consistent service and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Examine overall operational integrity and condition of the equipment.
• Diagnose, adjust/repair mechanical, hydraulic or electrical parts.
• Effectively communicating and executing next steps for repair solutions to the customer
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and order parts according to technical manuals
• Document and analyze breakdowns based on standard procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician
• Must have a Truck and Coach 310T Certification or Heavy Duty Technician Certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment
• Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements
• Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
• Experience aligning above equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of general Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Possess a valid driver’s license

L’un de nos clients, une entreprise du secteur de la manutention, recherche un technicien de maintenance itinérant talentueux.

En tant que technicien de maintenance itinérant, vous vous déplacerez sur les sites des clients pour effectuer la maintenance et les réparations des équipements de manutention, tels que les chariots élévateurs, les transpalettes et les carrousels, en assurant un service de qualité et en mettant à profit votre expertise technique.

Responsabilités :

• Examiner l'intégrité opérationnelle et l'état général de l'équipement.
• Diagnostiquer, régler et réparer les pièces mécaniques, hydrauliques ou électriques.
• Communiquer efficacement avec le client et mettre en œuvre les solutions de réparation.
• Effectuer la maintenance préventive planifiée.
• Diagnostiquer et commander les pièces conformément aux manuels techniques.
• Documenter et analyser les pannes selon les procédures standard.

Exigences :

• Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience pratique en tant que technicien en mécanique
• Certification Camion et Autocar 310T ou certification de technicien poids lourds requise
• Connaissance démontrée des systèmes mécaniques et électriques des équipements de manutention à batterie et à moteur thermique
• Maîtrise de l'utilisation des outils manuels et des instruments de mesure, ainsi que des outils de diagnostic et de mesure électriques/électroniques
• Expérience des équipements industriels, notamment du levage, de l'arrimage, de l'entretien, du démontage et de l'installation de machines et d'équipements de service mécanique industriel
• L'expérience de l'alignement des équipements, à l'aide de comparateurs à cadran, de pieds à coulisse, de micromètres, de palans ou de crics, est un atout
• Solide connaissance des procédures générales de consignation/déconsignation
• Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles et de communication
• Capacité d'adaptation et de travail dans un environnement dynamique et en constante évolution
• Permis de conduire valide
