Job DescriptionSkanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Security Guard in Brampton, Ontario.Job Details:

• Reception & Gatehouse security guard.
• Full-time.
• Available to do any shift ( 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM/ 4:00 PM - 12:00 PM/ 12:00 PM - 8:00 AM)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Visitor Access Control.
• Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrolling.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons & weekends.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs.
• Exceptional Customer Service.
