Job Description: Penske Logistics is looking for a Dock Assistant to become part of an excellent team in Acton Vale. As a member of the logistics center team, you will track delivery schedules for goods to our numerous customer delivery locations and ensure that everything is executed according to specific requirements essential for the smooth operation of all logistics activities. Job Responsibilities: General administrative duties (e.g., filing, faxing, scanning, email sorting) Creating labels from commercial invoices Create and maintain files Collect and track data and produce reports Perform basic audits Answer the phone and respond to operational inquiries Answer general questions in a professional and courteous manner Order, receive, and stock office supplies Provide secretarial support as needed High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to speak and understand French is required Warehouse experience highly preferred Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP preferred Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required Flexible to work overtime preferred Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
